Prince of Persia: The Graphic Novel

Dudes, I don't have a piece to post today, but if you've got roughly 8 bucks and a couple of hours to spare, you should definitely check this out.

It's the Prince of Persia graphic novel published originally in 2008. The art style, though stylistically more simple than most graphic novels, leaves nothing to be desired. It's beautiful and the color scheme is great, too. And if you've heard or played the video games-don't worry, it's got a plot all of its own. I'd recommend a re-reading because it was kind of hard to grasp at first; mostly because of the dual storyline between two princes centuries apart.

But seriously. PICK IT UP.

So guys. New style that I've been playing with. I've gotten really comfortable with it. Been tweaking it for the past couple of weeks. The comics I do now are mostly random humor. Basically me. I'll post journals when I can, but it's going to be more of this stuff than anything.

I'm also working on a concept for a more serious comic that I may create a new blog specifically for. Updates on that forthcoming.

So my science class literally has a skeleton in the closet (locker, rather). And that's what kinda sorta happened one day. I will start uploading more. I can't believe I haven't at all lately.

My head hurts. Poor quality is poor. This is the summary of a build-up that has occurred this week. I don't even know. That guy doesn't even exist. It's just my mood. He's a generic representation of everyone I have encountered this week. Except I haven't chewed any heads off. I don't know where I'm going with this.

I was sitting in class, minding my own business, when I felt someone tugging on my hair. The rest speaks for itself. Random moment of the week.

This was Latin class. The phrases being spoken are as follows, respectively by panel: "Live long and prosper"(he actually did teach us that today), "Let's get naked"(a class favorite), and ::edit: I think I mistranslated my own latin. It should be "Be quiet, Flaccus!"::

So we had a sub in art class this week. From the first day, I hated him. He walked around the room trying to guess what everyone was drawing before they had two strokes down. 9/10 times he was wrong. It was nerve wracking. He tried to explain abstract pieces to us in his own words. He used to be an English teacher and doesn't know a bit about art. It didn't help that I was blocked. As the week progressed, though, I somehow hated him less and less. By the end of the week we ended up realizing we have lots in common. I was almost sad when my real teacher came back on Friday. And I felt bad for jumping to conclusions. But he really is a know-it-all. Heh.

Exactly that. I'm going to be posting a (hopefully) daily journal comic, or just random sketches I do that day. I think it will be an outlet for me, especially when I'm blocked or frustrated and the like. So here's today's.

It's been kind of weird. Not a good or bad mood. Just a mood. My head feels fuzzy. But nothing's wrong. I've let go of stress somehow this week. I think applying to a college and getting that out of the way has helped. It's been pressing on my mind. Why don't we just go ahead and do things that make us feel better?
